Report: Vietnam Ranks First in Global Cryptocurrency Adoption Rate, United States Fifth

Chainanalysis released the 2022 Global Cryptocurrency Adoption Report. The adoption rate is assessed from multiple dimensions such as P2P exchange transaction volume and DeFi value services. The research shows that Vietnam has the highest cryptocurrency adoption rate, followed by the Philippines and Ukraine in second and third place, respectively, with the United States ranking fifth.

The report states that since mid-2019, the cryptocurrency adoption rate has been steadily increasing, reaching a historical peak in the second quarter of 2021, and has since fluctuated. Currently, due to the bear market, the pace of cryptocurrency adoption globally has slowed down, but it remains above the levels seen before the bull market. (source link)
