ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, a Bitcoin developer created and executed a complex multi-signature transaction on the Bitcoin network on October 9, causing many nodes on the Lightning Network to become unsynchronized. This was due to a bug in the btcd parsing library, which has now been fixed in the Lightning Network node implementation.

It is reported that the Lightning Network is a layer built on top of Bitcoin, designed to handle a large number of low-value transfers. (The Block)
