Asset management company Simplify submitted an ETF application to the SEC, intending to invest 15% of its total assets in GBTC
ChainCatcher news, asset management company Simplify has submitted an application for an exchange-traded fund (ETF) to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), named "The Simplify U.S. Equity PLUS GBTC ETF" (SPBC), which will invest at least 80% of its net assets in stocks of U.S. companies and the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), with an expected 15% of total assets invested in GBTC to gain indirect exposure to cryptocurrency. The fund will not directly invest in Bitcoin, Bitcoin futures, or other cryptocurrencies. (source link)
