FTX's head of institutional sales resigns, stating he knows "nothing" about the bankruptcy

ChainCatcher news, FTX's head of institutional sales Zane Tackett has resigned on November 8, stating in a letter to clients that his team was "completely in the dark" about the company's potential bankruptcy this week.

Tackett stated, "Most importantly, I want to be very clear that the VIP team was completely in the dark and had no idea that FTX was insolvent, nor did we know that FTX was not holding customer assets on a 1:1 basis."

Additionally, several sources indicated that the VIP team struggled to handle withdrawal issues, leading to tensions between FTX leadership and the VIP team. (source link)
