MakerDAO launches DAI cross-chain infrastructure Maker Teleport, aiming to achieve fast withdrawals and L2 interoperability
ChainCatcher news, MakerDAO announced the launch of the DAI cross-chain infrastructure Maker Teleport, built by the MakerDAO Engineering Core Unit. Its deployment is divided into two phases: fast withdrawals and full transfers between L2 networks. Now Maker Teleport has implemented fast withdrawals, allowing users to instantly transfer DAI from L2 to L1.
It is reported that fast withdrawals are now live on Arbitrum and Optimism, with a debt ceiling of 1 million DAI each. MakerDAO stated that after future upgrades, users will be able to instantly transfer DAI between L2s. Meanwhile, MakerDAO announced a grant program offering up to 10,000 DAI for developers who wish to integrate Maker Teleport. (source link)
