Former U.S. Treasury Secretary: Had two opportunities to invest in FTX but chose to pass on both
ChainCatcher news, according to CNBC, at the CNBC Technology Executive Council summit held in New York, former U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin revealed that he had two opportunities to invest in FTX but ultimately chose to pass on both.
Steven Mnuchin stated that he did not want to disclose the details of the FTX investment decision, but mentioned that during the second time he passed on the investment, FTX's valuation was five times that of the previous one, which left him feeling very surprised and absurd. Steven Mnuchin also revealed that the U.S. has seen inflation peak, and the Federal Reserve's interest rate hike cycle may end at a level of 4.5%. (source link)
