FTX users have filed a class-action lawsuit against the NBA's Golden State Warriors, accusing them of fraudulent promotion
ChainCatcher news, according to the Irish Examiner, the NBA Golden State Warriors were sued by a customer of the cryptocurrency exchange FTX on Monday (November 21) and accused of fraudulently promoting FTX. The customer is Canadian citizen Elliott Lam, who has filed a class action lawsuit in the federal court in San Francisco. Other defendants include SBF and Alameda Research CEO Caroline Ellison.
It is reported that the Golden State Warriors suspended all promotional activities related to FTX last week, and the Texas Securities Commission has officially begun investigating NBA Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry's involvement in promoting FTX. (Source link)
