ConsenSys launches private test version of zkEVM testnet
ChainCatcher news, ConsenSys announced the release of the zkEVM testnet private testing version, which is available on Infura for selected applicants, allowing developers to deploy and test smart contracts, migrate DApps from existing networks, and bridge tokens.
ConsenSys stated that its zkEVM achieves EVM equivalence, benefiting from Ethereum's security while enjoying the scalability and low fees of zkEVM. ConsenSys will begin internal testing of the zkEVM testnet next week, and starting in January 2023, it will gradually open the whitelist for external users to register. (source link)
