Leaked emails show that several FTX directors come from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission

ChainCatcher news, according to leaked emails, several FTX directors come from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in the United States. For example, FTX's General Counsel Ryne Miller was previously a legal advisor to Gary Gensler, who was then the chairman of the CFTC and is now the chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission; Mark Wetjen, former head of FTX's policy and regulatory strategy and current director of FTX subsidiary LedgerX, previously served as acting chairman and commissioner of the CFTC; former CFTC commissioner Jill Sommers is also a member of the FTX board.

Ryne Miller also helped arrange a meeting and dinner between SBF and former CFTC commissioner Dan Berkovitz, who currently serves as the General Counsel of the Securities and Exchange Commission. (source link)
