ChainCatcher news, according to a report by The Washington Post citing sources, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Washington in Seattle is reviewing transactions between U.S. hedge funds and Binance, instructing the hedge funds to hand over their communication records with Binance. Legal experts say that the subpoena has not been reported before and does not necessarily mean that authorities may bring charges.

Binance's Chief Strategy Officer Patrick Hillmann stated in an interview that the company "communicates with almost all global regulators every day," but declined to comment on any investigations in the U.S. Last month, Reuters reported that prosecutors are still discussing the possibility of reaching a settlement with Binance and weighing whether they have enough evidence to bring charges against the company.
