ChainCatcher news, court documents show that FTX Digital Markets spent over tens of millions of dollars on luxury hotels and accommodations, flights, and food from January 2022 to September 2022, with non-business expenses even exceeding more than half of the losses.

The documents reveal that over 15 million dollars were spent on luxury hotels and accommodations, including 5.8 million dollars on a resort hotel in Albany. A report adds that SBF stayed at this luxury resort before his arrest, and his penthouse was valued at 30 million dollars. The four-star hotel Grand Hyatt, which hosted members of the British royal family in March 2022, cost about 3.6 million dollars. The five-star Rosewood resort also spent 800,000 dollars.
