A U.S. judge has allowed the new leadership of FTX to subpoena SBF and other insiders
ChainCatcher news, U.S. Judge John Dorsey has ordered FTX's new leadership and its official creditors' committee to subpoena FTX founder SBF and executives Gary Wang, Caroline Ellison, and others, while SBF's parents and siblings can also be subpoenaed. The order states that if an independent examiner is appointed, the scope of information requests can still be adjusted, primarily due to the Justice Department's concerns about potential duplicative work. Additionally, the judge signed a second order allowing FTX to subpoena third parties for information that may be related to the exchange's hacking incident from the date of filing for bankruptcy protection.
