The U.S. SEC accuses Terra and Do Kwon of securities fraud involving crypto assets
ChainCatcher News, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has filed a lawsuit in the Southern District of New York, accusing Singapore-based Terraform Labs and Do Kwon of orchestrating a multi-billion dollar cryptocurrency securities fraud involving algorithmic stablecoins and other cryptocurrency securities, in violation of the registration and anti-fraud provisions of the Securities Act and the Exchange Act.
