The zk-based three-layer blockchain Opside will launch its Pre-Alpha testnet in the second quarter
ChainCatcher news, based on zk, the three-layer blockchain Opside will launch its Pre-Alpha testnet in the second quarter, with the main goal of completing a three-layer network based on "Ethereum testnet - Opside (PoW & PoS) - zkRollup (RaaS)'' to provide a testing environment for early applications. The initial version of the testnet is currently open on the official website, and some DeFi and gaming applications will use ZK-RaaS deployed on Layer 3.
It is reported that for the current zk-rollup execution environment, Opside provides solutions such as Polygon's zkEVM and Delphinus Labs' zkWasm, and based on these zkVMs, it has unified the smart contract interface, increased Rollup slots, and established a cross-Rollup communication mechanism. Each application in the ecosystem can obtain a Rollup slot through auction and leasing mechanisms, thus registering a native rollup and becoming the exclusive execution environment for that application. Opside also offers two bridging solutions, one based on multi-signature technology and the other a decentralized liquidity bridge. The team will continue to develop zkbridge. (Source link)
