Bitcoin Core developers: Code review is one of the biggest challenges facing Bitcoin today
ChainCatcher news, Bitcoin Core developer Andrew Chow stated that code review is one of the biggest challenges currently facing Bitcoin. Most Core developers are eager to write code for new features, but few enjoy the more mundane task of reviewing code submitted by peers.
Chow mentioned that more contributors need to focus on code review to address the over 300 PRs in the Core GitHub repository. The community has a Bitcoin Core PR Review Club that meets weekly to help new contributors understand the review process. (Source link)
