The U.S. Treasury sanctions three North Koreans for supporting the hacking group Lazarus Group
According to ChainCatcher, as reported by CoinDesk, the U.S. Treasury's sanctions regulators have banned three North Koreans who support the Lazarus Group, a North Korean hacking team known for stealing cryptocurrency. The Treasury stated that two of the sanctioned individuals, Cheng Hung Man and Wu Huihui, are over-the-counter traders facilitating cryptocurrency transactions for Lazarus, while the third person, Sim Hyon Sop, provided other financial support.
