Bitdeer plans to raise $500 million for Bitcoin mining operations in Bhutan
ChainCatcher news, Bitcoin mining company Bitdeer announced a strategic partnership with the commercial arm of the Kingdom of Bhutan, Druk Holding & Investments (DHI). The company stated in a press release that the scope of the collaboration is to launch a cryptocurrency mining operation, deploying "100% carbon-free" hydropower at a new mining center in the Kingdom of Bhutan. To this end, Bitdeer and DHI plan to establish a closed-end fund aimed at raising up to $500 million from the international community. (source link)
