Data: FTX/Alameda's priority claim dispute against Voyager amounts to $445 million, accounting for about one-third of Voyager's assets
ChainCatcher news, the real-world asset (RWA) tokenization service provider Heimdall tweeted that due to pressure from the IRS, FTX has become the government's cryptocurrency tax "withholding agent," harming the interests of retail creditors. The FTX/Alameda priority claim dispute ($445 million) currently occupies up to one-third of the Voyager assets available for compensation, and it is unclear whether FTX will abandon all priority actions.
Previously, ChainCatcher reported that Voyager currently has $1.334 billion in assets, which is equivalent to 75.68% of the total value of customer claims against Voyager's assets. Customers will receive an estimated initial compensation of 35.72% of their claim amounts. (Source link)
