According to ChainCatcher, as reported by CoinDesk, Atomic Wallet CEO Konstantin Gladych stated that the team is currently collecting data from affected users and passing it to blockchain analysis companies such as Chainalysis, Crystal, and Elliptic. Some funds have been frozen after being transferred to trading platforms, "this attack was definitely organized by a professional hacker team that is using scripts, fund splitting, mixers, and other means."
Previous report indicates that the attackers of Atomic Wallet have transferred the stolen cryptocurrency to the mixer Sinbad.io and are in the process of exchanging it for Bitcoin.
