The ETHShanghai 2023 Summit and Hackathon (ethshanghai.org) will be held from June 25 to July 7. This year's ETHShanghai is co-organized by core members including Mask Network, THUBA Tsinghua Blockchain Association, ChainIDE, and Moonshot Commons.

ETHShanghai is an initiative by Mask Network aimed at promoting the Ethereum network, hoping to attract more developers to join the Ethereum and Web3 community. At the ETHShanghai 2022 summit, many guests, including former U.S. Ambassador to China Terry Branstad, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, and ConsenSys founder and CEO Joseph Lubin, delivered speeches. The concurrent hackathon attracted nearly 1,000 participants and over 200 project submissions.

In the past year, Ethereum completed the Shanghai upgrade, further enhancing its performance and scalability; AI technology has developed significantly, providing intelligent support for decentralized applications; the Web3 concept has become more familiar to users, and decentralized applications are continuously changing people's perceptions and usage of the internet, receiving more legislative attention. To this end, we will gather renowned experts, technical leaders, and industry practitioners to discuss key topics such as the potential of Ethereum, the expansion of decentralized applications, and the opportunities and challenges ahead.
