ChainCatcher news, according to reports from Wu, Hong Kong's largest bank, HSBC, today allowed its customers to buy and sell virtual asset ETFs listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, becoming the first bank in Hong Kong to permit customers to trade virtual asset ETFs listed on the HKEX. This move will expand local users' access to cryptocurrencies. Currently, the cryptocurrency ETFs listed in Hong Kong include the Southern Eastern Bitcoin Futures ETF, the Southern Eastern Ether Futures ETF, and the Samsung Bitcoin Futures Active ETF.

At the same time, HSBC has launched a virtual asset investor education center. Before investing in any virtual asset-related products through the HSBC Easy Invest app, HSBC Mobile Banking app, and online banking, customers need to read and confirm the educational materials and risk disclosures from the virtual asset investor education center.
