Tesla and Jaguar will demonstrate payment for charging and parking fees using peaq's technology at the auto show

ChainCatcher news, the Web3 network peaq supporting IoT on Polkadot will participate in a live demonstration of payment for charging and parking fees for Tesla and Jaguar cars at the IAA MOBILITY 2023 auto show in Munich, Germany, in September.

The demonstration will involve two electric vehicles, one Tesla and one Jaguar, a charging station, and a smart parking space. Visitors will have the opportunity to briefly drive one of the electric vehicles, use the charger, and park the car. The vehicles will register with the charging station or parking space using their Self-Sovereign Machine Identity and will also pay for charging or parking fees from their decentralized wallets. Peaq's testnet and the Cosmos SDK-based Fetch network will support these interactions as the transaction and identity layer.
