Bitfinex holds Bitcoin on its balance sheet and reinvests Bitcoin for the long term

ChainCatcher news, according to a report by The Block citing sources, cryptocurrency exchange Bitfinex holds Bitcoin on its balance sheet. Bitfinex has historically retained a portion of its trading fee revenue in Bitcoin.

Bitfinex's Chief Technology Officer Paolo Ardoino stated on Twitter last Sunday that cryptocurrency exchanges benefiting from Bitcoin should establish a policy to reinvest a portion of their profits into Bitcoin.
