Chairman of the Texas Blockchain Council: Bitcoin production decreased by over 90% this week due to the power crisis

ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, Lee Bratcher, chairman of the Texas Blockchain Council, stated that due to the power crisis, Bitcoin mining output in the state has decreased by more than 90% this week.

The U.S. officials announced on Thursday that Texas has entered a power emergency. Lee Bratcher mentioned that under the tight power conditions, all industrial-scale Bitcoin miners have shut down their mining machines.
