Ripple CEO: The crypto community needs to reach a consensus on certain fundamental regulations
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse stated during a panel discussion at "Token 2049" in Singapore that the cryptocurrency community needs to reach a consensus on certain fundamental regulations. "In my judgment, if we want this industry to thrive and fundamentally reshape the way financial infrastructure operates, we cannot pretend that government regulation is irrelevant."
Garlinghouse pointed out: "Anti-money laundering and KYC are very important. If you think we can sidestep these issues, then I believe this industry will not truly flourish in the next 5 to 10 years."
