Bloomberg: The U.S. SEC failed to convince the judge to immediately launch a deep investigation into Binance.US
ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) failed on Monday to persuade a federal district judge to allow officials to immediately conduct an in-depth investigation into Binance.US's software. The SEC stated that it has been struggling to obtain information from Binance.US since it filed a lawsuit against Binance.US and CZ in June of this year.
Previously, the SEC requested on Monday that federal district judge Zia Faruqui allow it to inspect Binance.US's technological infrastructure and compel the company to share other necessary information. The judge stated, "I am not inclined to allow the investigation at this time; the SEC should make more targeted requests and speak with more witnesses."
