Taiko releases the Jólnir (Alpha-5) testnet and introduces new proposal and proof designs

ChainCatcher message, based on zkRollup, the Ethereum Layer2 network Taiko has announced that its fifth testnet Jólnir (Alpha-5) is now live. The new version introduces a proposal and proof design based on Proposer-Builder Separation (PBS), aimed at optimizing the network's liveness.

In addition, Jólnir has updated its bridging implementation and interface, and added a new data statistics page. Taiko reminds users of Grímsvötn L2 that the network will continue to operate until October 31, but will no longer provide official support. Taiko has reached out to ecosystem projects deployed on Grímsvötn L2 or Eldfell L3 to assist them in migrating to Jólnir.
