Before the official approval by the SEC in the U.S., Valkyrie will suspend the purchase of Ethereum futures

ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, Valkyrie announced this morning that it has suspended purchases of Ethereum futures until approved by the SEC and will withdraw all previously purchased Ethereum futures.

ChainCatcher previously reported that the U.S. SEC has approved Valkyrie's conversion of its existing Bitcoin futures ETF into a Bitcoin and Ethereum futures ETF. The new fund will be renamed "Valkyrie Bitcoin and Ethereum Strategy ETF" and will officially take effect on October 3, while the code will remain BTF.
