How to identify the next surge opportunity in the Upbit coin listing frenzy?

Everyone knows about the high probability of price surges on the South Korean crypto exchange Upbit, but I believe everyone is more concerned about how to filter out trading pairs that will surge, and most importantly, how to anticipate projects that may be listed in advance.
First, let’s review the impact of the 13 listings on prices from March this year to now:
Out of 5 BTC trading pairs, 4 experienced declines and 1 saw an increase.
In the KRW trading pairs, there were 2 instances of IEO new coins being listed, with price movements influenced by the tokens themselves, showing a lower correlation with Upbit:
Excluding IEOs, in the remaining 6 KRW trading pairs that were listed, all 6 saw price increases.
It can be seen that listings in KRW trading pairs have a high probability of leading to price increases, while BTC trading pairs have little impact.
However, price increases occur at the moment of the "listing announcement," and once trading opens, prices tend to start declining.
The time gap between the announcement and the opening of trading is often unpredictable, so if you can act quickly upon seeing the announcement, you might be able to capitalize on this price surge.
This raises the next question: Is there a way to predict future projects that may be listed? If so, it might allow for early preparation to place orders or to set up positions in advance.
Upbit's UDC annual meeting is a very valuable reference indicator.
Since 2018, there have been 54 projects that have either issued tokens or may issue tokens participating in the UDC annual meeting, of which 41 have already launched KRW trading pairs.
The accuracy rate is 76%!
Currently, there are still 13 projects that have not yet been listed on Upbit or have not launched KRW trading pairs.
- Among those not yet listed are SLP, HNT, GALA, NFT, ROSE;
- Those that have launched BTC trading pairs but not yet KRW trading pairs include: MKR, YGG, STG, IOTX, GAL;
- Projects that have not issued tokens but have participated in UDC include: Linea, LayerZero;
This year's UDC will take place on November 13, and it would be worthwhile to closely monitor these projects that have not yet been listed for any significant updates during the annual meeting.
If there are any, it may increase the likelihood of future listings.
