Some investors are actively seeking the help of OpenAI's largest shareholder, Microsoft.
Informed sources say that Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has been in contact with Altman and has promised to support him regardless of what steps he takes next. Altman is open to returning to the company. One scenario currently being considered is that the current members of the OpenAI board will resign.
