Pudgy Penguins CEO: Regrets buying a Rolls-Royce Cullinan
ChainCatcher news, Pudgy Penguins CEO Luca Netz stated in a recent interview that although he has never spent money as lavishly as other billionaires, he does admit to having bought a Rolls-Royce Cullinan. It is reported that the starting price for the 2023 model exceeds $375,000.
Netz said, "The Rolls-Royce Cullinan is the one thing I shouldn't have bought, and I regret it. It is undoubtedly the worst car I've ever owned. On the surface, it's a great car. But it's big and clunky—I call it an oil rig. It has no small gadgets and no functionality. Apart from the beautiful orange interior, it's completely useless."
When asked if he plans to sell it, he joked, "It will always be an oil rig on my front lawn, just in case one day we discover a mine and I need to start drilling for oil. Maybe that thing will come in handy."
It is known that Netz sold his e-commerce imitation gold jewelry business at the age of 18, becoming a self-made millionaire. Later, he bought Pudgy Penguins for $2.5 million and has recently been overseeing the brand's plush toys launched at Walmart. Now, at 25 years old, he estimates his net worth may exceed $100 million.
