Tokenlon Bitcoin cross-chain gateway will stop serving individual investors on December 31
ChainCatcher news, according to an announcement from the decentralized exchange protocol Tokenlon, the policy for Tokenlon's Bitcoin cross-chain gateway service has been adjusted, stopping services for individual investors. The imBTC redemption channel will be closed on December 31, 2023, at 23:59 (UTC+8), and in the future, services will only be available for institutional clients.
It is reported that in order to help community users cross-chain BTC tokens to the Ethereum network, Tokenlon launched the Bitcoin cross-chain gateway service and went live with imBTC (1:1 pegged to BTC) at the end of 2019. So far, it has served a total of 4,555 addresses and completed 127,509 transactions.
