Bitcoin L2 Network Stacks: Nakamoto upgrade expected to take place in mid to late April
According to ChainCatcher news, the official announcement from the Bitcoin Layer2 network Stacks states that the Nakamoto upgrade time window has been narrowed down to April 15 to 29, 2024. This upgrade will eliminate the limitations on Bitcoin block time, mitigate certain Bitcoin MEV and orphaning behaviors, and provide 100% finality for Bitcoin transactions.
