ChainCatcher news, the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has issued a warning on its official website advising the public to be cautious of CBEX Group and Bitget Pro, which are suspected of engaging in virtual asset-related fraud. The Hong Kong Police Force has taken action to block the relevant websites at the request of the SFC.
It is reported that although the relevant websites have been blocked, the public should be wary of scammers who may continue to establish similarly structured websites. The Hong Kong SFC has included CBEX Group and Bitget Pro, along with their respective related websites, on the SFC's alert list of suspicious virtual asset trading platforms as of April 23, 2024.
