The newly revised donation law in South Korea does not allow the use of cryptocurrency for donations

ChainCatcher news, according to local media "Jingxiang News," the Ministry of Public Administration stated that a partial amendment to South Korea's "Donation Law" has been submitted, but it restricts the use of cryptocurrency for donations.

Starting in July, individuals donating to charities or causes will be able to use various new methods, such as department store gift certificates, stocks, and loyalty points from South Korean internet giant Naver, but will not be able to use Bitcoin.
