Ripple CEO responds: Previous remarks were not an attack on Tether

ChainCatcher news, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse responded to Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino's tweet, stating: "I am not attacking Tether, the next thing I said in the podcast is that I believe Tether is a very important part of the ecosystem. My point is that the U.S. government has clearly indicated that they want more control over the issuers of dollar-backed stablecoins, so Tether, as the largest player, is right in their sights."

Previous news, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino posted on social media that a competitor company of Tether, which is currently under SEC investigation, is spreading related FUD about Tether and USDT.
