ChainCatcher news, the encrypted wallet Phantom has surpassed PayPal in downloads, ranking second among free financial apps on Google Play, with Cash App in first place. According to data from the Google Play Store, Phantom has exceeded 5 million downloads on the platform.

The Phantom wallet also ranks 14th overall in the Google Play Store app rankings, above job platform Indeed, Meta's social media platform Threads, and streaming services Tubi and Max.
