ChainCatcher news: Although the price of Bitcoin's hash power has been hovering below $44 per PH/s daily, the network hash rate has started to rise again. From August 9 to 17, the hash rate increased from 612 EH/s to 637 EH/s, an increase of 25 EH/s over 8 days. After the difficulty adjustment on August 14, miners significantly boosted their computing power. The network difficulty decreased from 906 trillion to 868 trillion, a drop of 4.19%, alleviating the pressure brought by the 10.5% increase on July 31.

On the day of the difficulty adjustment, the hash rate was 624 EH/s, indicating an addition of 13 EH/s within 72 hours. The price of Bitcoin and low on-chain fees have caused the hash power price to drop to a historic low, falling to $35 per PH/s on August 5.
