Lava founder: It is estimated that there are about 400 "second layer" solutions running on the Bitcoin chain

ChainCatcher news, according to Protos, Lava founder Shehzan stated that there are approximately 400 "second layer" solutions running on the Bitcoin blockchain.

Shehzan pointed out in the Gwart Show on August 25 that the actual value of these roll-ups and alternative blockchains is in question. Some believe the number of such projects is only between 80 and 85, while others estimate it to be over 1,000. The discrepancy in estimates is so large because anyone can "roll-up" data and broadcast a tiny hash to any miner, technically creating a "Bitcoin second layer."

Among these second layer solutions, many are simply clones of Ethereum roll-ups, primarily processing data on centralized servers outside the Bitcoin network and periodically broadcasting state hashes into the Bitcoin block.
