ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, BitMEX founder Arthur Hayes stated: "Given the uncertainty of the U.S. election results, the family office Maelstrom will invest 5% of its fund in staked USDe (Ethena USD), which can earn about 13% returns. We maintain large long positions in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other tokens."

Hayes added that the fund will deploy all sUSDe into cryptocurrencies once the U.S. election results are clear and the losing side accepts the outcome. Hayes joked that who the winner is doesn't matter in the short term.
