ChainCatcher news, according to Whale Alert monitoring, Ripple locked 770 million XRP in a custody wallet early in the morning, worth approximately 1.486 billion dollars.

Previously, Ripple stated that it would use a custody account system to provide transparency and certainty for the XRP market. The company locked a majority of its XRP holdings to ensure that it does not flood the market and manipulate prices.
