The proposal was submitted by the American conservative think tank NCPPR, suggesting that Microsoft allocate at least 1% of its assets (approximately $780 million) to Bitcoin to hedge against inflation risks.

Prediction market Polymarket data shows that the probability of the proposal passing is currently reported at 12%.
