Citigroup: Cryptocurrency will surge in 2025 driven by Trump policies and ETF inflows

2024-12-27 09:00:52

ChainCatcher news, according to Bitcoin.com, Citibank analysts predict that cryptocurrency will experience strong growth in 2025 driven by Trump’s policies, increased ETF inflows, and innovations in stablecoins. Bitcoin breaking through $100,000 may just be the beginning.

Citibank analysts expect a shift in regulation and explain that this is more about removing obstacles than a story of deregulation, meaning that policies may reduce previously existing barriers to growth rather than relaxing regulations. Widespread adoption remains key to the long-term success of cryptocurrency.
