Analyst: The Federal Reserve will remain relatively hawkish
ChainCatcher news, according to Jinshi reports, Pepperstone senior research strategist Michael Brown stated, "I believe the non-farm payroll report will only encourage the dollar to continue rising, which has been the market's preference for some time, and certainly helps reinforce the theme of 'American exceptionalism,' and should keep the Federal Reserve relatively hawkish compared to other G10 member countries."
The biggest risk to the bullish outlook on the dollar is that market participants may seek to take profits/cut positions ahead of Trump's inauguration early next week.
