ChainCatcher news, outgoing U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairman Gary Gensler stated to Yahoo Finance on Tuesday that the commission "has never said" that Bitcoin and Ethereum are securities, and neither he nor former SEC Chairman Jay Clayton has said that Bitcoin is a security.
