ChainCatcher news, Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau stated after speaking with U.S. President Trump that the U.S. will suspend the imposition of tariffs on Canada for at least 30 days.
On the 1st of this month, Trump signed an executive order to impose a 25% tariff on goods imported from Mexico and Canada. Earlier on February 3rd, Trump spoke with Mexican President Peña Nieto. Both announced after the call that the U.S. and Mexico agreed to immediately suspend the tariff measures for one month and continue negotiations.
