Tether CEO: Quantum computing cannot threaten the Bitcoin encryption system for now

ChainCatcher news, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated on social platform X that quantum computing is still far from posing a substantial threat to the Bitcoin encryption system.

He predicts that before any serious threat arises, Bitcoin will add quantum-resistant address functionality. All living individuals who can access their wallets will transfer their Bitcoin to new quantum-resistant addresses.
