Santiment: Ethereum exchange's single-day net outflow hits a 23-month high, 2025 trend still relies on Bitcoin performance

ChainCatcher news, according to Santiment data, from February 8 to 9, approximately 224,400 Ethereum flowed out of exchanges, setting a new daily net outflow high in nearly 23 months.

While this is more of a long-term indicator, it is a strong signal for the currently underperforming Ethereum price. When assets flow out of exchanges, it typically indicates that investors have confidence in holding for the long term. A decrease in the number of tokens available for public trading also means that the likelihood of a large-scale sell-off in the future is reduced.

It is important to note that Ethereum's performance in 2025 will still largely depend on Bitcoin's ability to remain stable and attempt to return to its historical highs.
