U.S. Treasury: IRS has canceled a $1.9 billion contract and will continue to work with DOGE to reduce waste
ChainCatcher message, the U.S. Department of the Treasury stated in a post on X: "We are working with DOGE to identify waste, fraud, and abuse. To this end, the IRS has rescinded the previously planned $1.9 billion contract and committed to focusing on the responsible use of taxpayer funds.
We have included the project SoW and FPDS entries to ensure full transparency. We look forward to continuing to work with the DOGE team to reduce waste."
