Deribit large options: A user paid $1.861 million to buy a $100,000 call option expiring at the end of April

ChainCatcher news, according to Lin Chen, the head of Asia-Pacific business at Deribit, a large Bitcoin options trade has been completed on the Deribit exchange.

An investor paid a premium of $1.861 million to purchase 250 Bitcoin call options with a strike price of $100,000, expiring at the end of April. If the Bitcoin price is above $108,000 at expiration, a profit will be made. Currently, the Bitcoin price is around $98,000.
